Job summary

Sampoerna Academy in Indonesia seeks a National Principal to provide instructional and administrative leadership aligned with the national curriculum, guiding staff and students toward academic excellence.

You will work with the Principal, Heads of Department, and education authorities to ensure accreditation, data reporting, and high‑quality programs; you will oversee examinations, scheduling, and staff development.

Qualifications

• Must be an Indonesian national.
• Minimum of 5 years leadership experience.
• Having NRKS (Nomor Registrasi Kepala Sekolah) is preferable.
• Demonstrate fluency in both Indonesian and English languages.
• Possess in-depth knowledge of Indonesian national curriculum and educational policies.
• Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Have experience in managing school accreditation processes.
• Possess strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional and administrative leadership focused on the National Curriculum.
• Promote awareness of the national curriculum among parents and the community.
• Collaborate with the Principal, Vice Principal, Heads of Department, Curriculum Heads, and teachers for effective curriculum delivery.
• Liaise with local and national educational authorities.
• Also act as Assistant Principal on areas/matters assigned by Principal.
• Attend scheduled meetings with the Ministry of Education & Culture, local Diknas, and Pengawas.
• Manage and oversee all processes and administration for school registration and accreditation with the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education.
• Ensure timely and error‑free data reporting to local Diknas and the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education, e.g., Dapodik, Sispena.
• Maintain up‑to‑date school licensing and aim for A accreditation rating.
• Implement School Board Policies.
• Assist in monitoring and evaluating instructional staff and in developing master schedules.
• Prepare for examinations, scheduling, and reporting; oversee national assessments.
