Job summary

Jhpiego seeks a Program Manager to support UNFPA-supported projects at the national level in Indonesia. The role focuses on improving maternal and newborn services and midwifery education across provinces, with travel within Indonesia and internationally.

The successful candidate will coordinate with senior staff, translate workplans, develop budgets, monitor implementation and reporting, and ensure compliance with donor and Jhpiego policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public health, advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience working at similar level.
• Experience in maternal, newborn, and child health; strong knowledge of the technical area.
• Experience in leading a team; strong project reporting skills; ability to travel.
• Written and oral fluency in English; ability to work in multi-cultural environment.

Responsibilities

• Support Country Director to translate national workplan to province and district activities with guidance and monitoring.
• Coordinate with national team to develop activities and budgets and ensure implementation per workplan.
• Monitor activity implementation, manage project operations and spending.
• Ensure alignment with donor and organizational policies and procedures; escalate issues as needed.
• Deliver other tasks assigned by supervisor; engage with key national partners.
