About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Nanny to join our team in Badung, Bali. This is a full-time position offering a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's development and wellbeing. As a Nanny, you will be responsible for providing high-quality childcare and creating a safe, stimulating, and supportive environment for the children in your care. This role is essential to our commitment to excellent childcare provision and plays a vital part in supporting families whilst contributing to children's growth and development.

Key responsibilities

• Providing attentive, compassionate childcare for children of various ages, ensuring their safety, comfort and happiness at all times
• Planning and implementing age-appropriate educational activities, games and play experiences that promote cognitive, physical and emotional development
• Maintaining a clean, hygienic and safe environment for the children in your care
• Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks in accordance with dietary requirements and preferences
• Assisting with personal care routines including toileting, washing and dressing
• Maintaining regular communication with parents regarding the child's activities, behaviour, progress and any concerns
• Supervising outdoor play and recreation activities whilst promoting physical activity and exploration
• Following all health and safety protocols, safeguarding policies and duty of care requirements
• Supporting children's emotional wellbeing and helping to build confidence and social skills
• Assisting with light housekeeping duties related to childcare areas and children's belongings

What we're looking for

• Formal qualification or certification in childcare, early childhood education or equivalent professional training
• Proven experience working as a Nanny or in professional childcare settings for at least 2-3 years
• Strong knowledge of child development milestones and age-appropriate care practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with children and families
• Demonstrated commitment to child safeguarding and understanding of duty of care responsibilities
• First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain these qualifications
• Ability to remain calm, patient and nurturing in challenging situations
• Physical capability to engage in active play and meet the physical demands of childcare
• Flexibility and adaptability in responding to children's individual needs and family requirements
• Fluency in English is essential; additional language skills are desirable
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
