The role requires formal childcare qualifications, 2–3 years of experience, strong knowledge of child development, and excellent communication. Fluent English is essential; willingness to obtain First Aid/CPR is expected.

Qualifications

• Requires formal childcare qualification or certification.
• At least 2–3 years in nanny or professional childcare roles.
• Strong understanding of child development milestones.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building with children and families.
• Commitment to safeguarding and duty of care responsibilities.
• First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
• Must be calm, patient, and nurturing in challenging situations.
• Ability to engage in active play and physical activities with children.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, compassionate childcare for children of various ages.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities and play.
• Maintain a clean, hygienic, and safe childcare environment.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks according to dietary needs.
• Assist with personal care routines (toileting, washing, dressing).
• Communicate regularly with parents about activities, progress and concerns.
• Supervise outdoor play and encourage physical activity.
• Follow health and safety protocols and safeguarding policies.
• Support children's emotional wellbeing and social skills.
• Assist with light housekeeping related to childcare areas.
