Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. seeks a Facility Engineer (Mechanical) to ensure reliability and efficiency of critical mechanical infrastructure in a data centre environment. You will support uptime, operational excellence, and compliance with CBRE standards.

Key responsibilities include managing chilled water systems, overseeing maintenance, supervising technicians, and coordinating contractors while maintaining accurate records and safety compliance. Bilingual in Bahasa Indonesia and English preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; diploma holders with relevant experience encouraged.
• 5+ years in mechanical operations and maintenance.
• 3+ years in a mission-critical environment, data centre preferred.
• Strong knowledge of chilled water systems, cooling infrastructure, redundancy (N+1, 2N).
• Experience troubleshooting and root-cause analysis in critical environments.
• Familiarity with CMMS platforms: Maximo, Corrigo, Planon.
• Experience using BMS/SCADA for monitoring critical plant operations.
• Proven experience supervising technicians, contractors, vendors, and service providers.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and reporting skills.
• Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia and English.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain mechanical systems including chillers, cooling towers, pumps, CRAH/CRAC, AHUs, plumbing, water treatment, and fire suppression.
• Lead and execute planned preventive maintenance to ensure asset reliability.
• Review and close maintenance activities in the CMMS with proper documentation.
• Perform fault diagnosis and root cause analysis with corrective actions.
• Monitor plant performance and energy efficiency for optimization opportunities.
• Prepare and execute MOPs, SOPs, and EOPs; support change management and maintenance windows.
• Supervise Facilities Technicians and provide technical guidance and development.
• Coordinate specialist contractors, vendors, and OEMs, ensuring safety and site procedures.
• Support spare parts planning, lifecycle management, and capital improvements.
• Contribute to client reporting, KPI reviews, and incident investigations.
• Support emergency response activities and drills.
