Job summary

PT Freeport Indonesia Inc. is seeking a Mine Underground - Foreman, Underground Logistics to develop and refine detailed underground mine schedules and guide daily activities in line with targets.

You will coordinate manpower and resources, identify scheduling conflicts, and communicate progress to leadership. The role requires an S1 in Mining Engineering with at least 3 years of underground scheduling experience, plus proficiency with scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Develop master mine schedule using scheduling software and propose it to superior.

• Analyze long-term effects of schedule changes on the critical path.
• Develop regular progress reports to Operations, Engineering and Management.
• Monitor schedules and report progress to ensure alignment with plan.
• Present scheduling information for monthly project presentations.

About the job Mine Underground - Foreman, Underground Logistics. Plan., Contr. & Montr. #2

Analyze and develop detailed schedules for all activities in assigned area within Underground Mine, in order to provide guidance for daily activities in compliance with the determined target.

The key duties and responsibilities of this position are:

• Develop master mine schedule using scheduling software package (e.g., Mine Work Planner, IGantt, etc.) and propose it to superior in order to support superior provide accurate schedule as a guidance to related parties (e.g., operation).
  
• Coordinate manpower and time resource allocations for activities in the schedule to ensure client needs are met in a timely fashion.
• Analyze and identify potential scheduling problems including conflicting demand for resources and insufficient allocation of time or resources and inform it to superior in order to support accurate schedule development.
  
• Provide data and/or information on project's progress and recommend any necessary schedule adjustments as input to superior.
• Analyze the long-term effects of any schedule changes in the critical path as input or recommendation to superior.
• Develop regular progress reports to Operations, Engineering and Management, in order to provide information on the actual progress.
• Monitor Construction schedules and report progress against plan, in order to ensure construction phase in line with the schedule.
• Provide material presentation of scheduling information, in order to support superior for monthly Big Gossan Mine project presentation.

Minimum Education and Experience

• S1 degree in Mining Engineering with 3 years working experience in underground mining scheduling.
• Proven ability to work in multi-cultural environment.
• Computer literate in Scheduling and Planning Software.
