Job summary

PT Freeport Indonesia Inc. is seeking a Mine Underground Foreman for the DMLZ Dispatch to supervise and optimize underground production through the Dispatch system, coordinating with Operations to hit tonnage and grade targets.

The role requires a Mining Engineering degree with 1–3 years in underground operations and a working knowledge of Minegem and Minestar, plus strong safety and communication skills. You will oversee safety inspections, respond to emergencies, and mentor a team while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering with 1–3 years in underground mining and dispatch systems.
• Experience in Block Caving operations and underground engineering.
• Familiarity with Minegem and Minestar technology and centralized control systems.
• Knowledge of safety inspection procedures and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch, monitor, and coordinate underground production to meet targets.

About the job Mine Underground - Foreman, DMLZ Dispatch #1B

Dispatch, monitor, and supervise production activities through an effective Dispatch system and coordination with Operation to achieve and improve production target both tonnage and grade with good cave mine management system.

The key duties and responsibilities of this position are:

• Conduct regular safety inspection and submit reports to meet all requirements of the Safety Accountability Program.
• Operate the Dispatch System in the Underground Production areas on a shift-by-shift basis to ensure daily compliance with all draw orders by shift supervisors and operators.
• Analyze and investigate reasons for failure to comply with draw orders and dispatch instructions by operators or shift supervision and report all findings to supervisor in order to have appropriate solution.
• Prepare report of non-compliance with draw orders and reasons to Shift Supervision and Sr. Dispatch Engineer/Engineering Management in timely manner and accurately.
• Communicate with Operations on a daily basis to monitor progress against the plan and communicate internally within the Engineering department to keep up on all production activities.
• Anticipate, monitor any Dispatch System operation problems and report to Maintenance and Management to ensure all problems directed to the relevant department and to have them solved properly.
• Act as "Call Taker" in the event of emergency or accident and direct problems properly.
• Coordinate with other department, such as Instrument, MIS, and Equipment maintenance as to ensure the equipment availabilities and the continuity of the production process in effective and efficient manner.
• Monitor and also evaluate performance and potential capabilities of subordinates, to contribute the development of professional team.
• Monitor Minegem Status, Co-Pilot, LHD Production Availability and Utilization Availability
• Ensure subordinates are properly understood of new production technology up to including Minegem and Minestar technology included automation and centralized control system of Rock breaker, and also implement the critical work procedure such as LHD operation, Rock breaker operation, Loading Point, wet muck handling, secondary blasting, centralized blasting, LOTOTO, etc.

Minimum Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree (S1) in Mining Engineering with at least 1 to 3 years working experience in Underground Mining Operation and Engineering (Block Caving), and Dispatch system.
