Job summary

PT Freeport Indonesia Inc. invites applications for a Mine Underground - Foreman, DMLZ Panel Repair C#1B. You will lead the DMLZ and PB4 crew repair activities to support underground production safely and efficiently, guiding shift crews to meet daily plans.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering with at least 2 years' underground operations experience. You will ensure safety, discipline, and adherence to procedures while driving KPI achievement and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (S1) in Mining Engineering with at least 2 years' experience in Underground Operations.
• Experience leading and coordinating repair activities for underground mining crews.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety and health/hygiene in underground area.
• Instruct crew supervisors to use materials with proper care and attention to minimize or eliminate damages and/or wasting.
• Inspect working areas to identify unsafe acts/conditions, report and control working environment.
• Implement shift lineout for shift crew to achieve daily key performance indicators and shift goals.
• Inspect and monitor all working practices and techniques to ensure safe, accurate and correct procedures are implemented for all areas.
• Read, comprehend and comply with monthly goals in order to motivate crew members to achieve targets.
• Monitor manpower/equipment as required to achieve shift goals for all areas.
• Listen and obtain feedback on problems and issues that impact on the morale of crew members for all areas.
• Apply CLA discipline, absenteeism and other procedures in a fair and just manner to maintain control of crew members for all areas.
