Job summary

GoldenAgri is seeking a Mill Maintenance Engineer to oversee preventive maintenance, ensure smooth processing, and optimize machine performance across the palm oil mill.

You will develop maintenance plans, monitor production processes, analyze data, and coordinate across teams to sustain productivity and quality targets while improving efficiency and profitability. The role requires hands-on technical competence and readiness to be placed on-site at mill facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years in palm oil mill operations or manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of machinery maintenance and mill processing operations.
• Willing to be placed in mill/site locations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules based on machine specifications.
• Prepare work programs aligned with maintenance plans, including estimating material usage.
• Conduct routine inspections of machinery for proper maintenance and repairs.
• Analyze laboratory processing results to evaluate machine performance and adjust as needed.
• Prepare monthly operational reports from daily and weekly activities.
• Maintain inventory records of machinery, equipment and spare parts.
• Monitor loading of Fresh Fruit Bunches into lorries and ensure capacity standards.
• Supervise boiler operations and monitor energy utilization for processing.
• Check CPO and kernel losses and validate against lab results.
• Report processing issues and equipment breakdowns promptly.
• Make prompt decisions and coordinate across teams to resolve operations issues.
• Support efficiency and contribute to mill profitability.
• Assist in planning and developing workforce capability within Manufacturing.

• Conduct direct checks on CPO and kernel losses and validate against laboratory analysis results
• Report processing issues and equipment breakdowns in a timely manner
• Make prompt and accurate decisions in handling operational issues and ensure effective coordination across teams
• Support operational efficiency and contribute to the overall profitability of the mill
• Assist in planning, developing, and optimizing workforce capability, including anticipating manpower needs within the Manufacturing Division

Job Requirement

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in palm oil mill operations or manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of machinery maintenance and mill processing operations
• Familiarity with boiler operations and production processes is an advantage
• Good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Able to read and interpret technical data and laboratory results
• Willing to be placed in mill/site locations
