Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a MES engineer to design, implement, and support MES solutions in manufacturing environments. You will participate in MES-to-ERP integrations and shop floor connectivity, while helping validate and deploy MES systems across sites.

The role requires a strong background in .NET/Java/SQL development, system integration, and exposure to PLCs. Relocation for SAT activities may be required; collaboration with IT, automation, and production teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Proven MES experience.
• Strong background in application development such as .NET, Java, SQL.
• Experience with system integration and data exchange.
• Willingness to relocate for SAT activities.
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, implement, and support MES solutions in manufacturing environments.
• Participate in MES-to-ERP and shop floor integration activities.
• Support SAT and relocation to sites as required.
• Develop and maintain MES interfaces and enhancements.
• Troubleshoot MES issues in production environments.
• Collaborate with IT, automation, and production teams to support deployment and operations.
• Assist in validation, testing, and deployment of MES solutions.
• Gain working knowledge of PLC systems and support MES integration.
• Document configurations, procedures, and best practices.
• Provide training and technical support to end users and stakeholders.
