Job summary

MatchaTalent is seeking a Lead Mechanical Engineer (HVAC) in Indonesia to act as Engineer-in-Charge for major projects, ensuring energy-efficient, constructible HVAC designs that are fully compliant with Indonesian building codes and obtain PBG/SLF approvals.

You will prepare and approve HVAC calculations, ducting and piping layouts, and technical specifications; review shop drawings and RFIs; and mentor junior engineers and draftspeople to ensure on-site execution aligns with design intent.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical Engineering with STRI and SKA/SKK Level 8.
• 5+ years HVAC design experience with Engineer-in-Charge roles.
• Proficient in HVAC load calculations and ducting/piping systems.

Responsibilities

• Act as Engineer-in-Charge for HVAC projects and ensure compliance.
• Prepare/approve HVAC calculations, layouts, and specs for PBG/SLF.
• Review drawings, RFIs, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
