Job summary

Lyvin Properties is seeking an experienced MEP Draftsperson to join our team in Bali. You will produce precise shop drawings for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, ensuring routing, dimensions, materials, and ducting layouts are clearly documented for construction teams.

Ideal candidates have a Diploma or Bachelor’s in engineering and 2–3 years of MEP drafting experience, with proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and BIM tools. Familiarity with ArchiCAD is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree (D3/S1) in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
• 2–3 years of proven experience as an MEP Drafter, preferably with a portfolio showcasing high-rise buildings or industrial projects.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD 2D (clean layer management, Xrefs, and layout/plotting setups).
• Experience with Graphisoft ArchiCAD or other BIM software is an advantage.
• Strong spatial awareness to construct precise elevation and cross-section drawings.
• Deep familiarity with standard MEP symbols, codes, and widely used industry materials.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all riser and shaft drawings clearly state routing and continuity of pipes/cables.
• Embed accurate dimensions (diameters), material types, pressure classes, and specific cable/ducting layouts onto every drawing.
• Maintain drafting standards with structured layer management, systematic hatching, precise dimensioning, and clean leader/callout lines.
• Accurately interpret and expand upon rough sketches, schematics, and technical directives provided by the MEP Engineer.
• Deliver final shop drawings that are easily understood by site supervisors, foremen, and installers, effectively minimizing execution errors on-site.
• Proficiently read and implement SLD, plumbing riser diagrams, and instrumentation/control schematics into architectural floor plans.
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of standard MEP materials, fittings, valves, electrical panels, and pipe insulations.
• Verify that all drafted components align perfectly with the project's approved material submittals and technical specifications.
• Generate detailed cross-section drawings for congested areas (such as corridors, shaft openings, and plant rooms) to establish exact elevations and prevent clashes between pipes, ducting, and cable trays.
• Promptly update, manage, and log drawing revisions based on site variations to produce accurate As-Built Drawings.
