Job summary

Cermati.com is offering an internship opportunity for a student or fresh graduate in Jakarta. You will work closely with a mentor from the Senior Software Engineer/Lead Software Engineer / Engineering Manager track to help achieve team goals and personal growth.

You will execute a small to medium-sized project assigned by the PM/Lead, collaborate in a high-performance team, and participate in requirements gathering and design discussions to craft effective solutions.

Qualifications

• Third year or Final year student or fresh graduate from Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, Informatics Engineering, or other related major
• Passionate about Fintech Industry
• Able to communicate in Bahasa & English
• Self-motivated, creative and collaborative
• Excellent communications skills, with the ability to synthesize, simplify and explain complex problems to different types of audience, including executives
• [Nice To Have] experience on Airflow/Dagster and DBT Data Modelling
• [Nice To Have] experience on Python, Java, and NodeJS Programming Language
• [Nice To Have] experience on writing SQL Queries and Data Warehouse (e.g.: BigQuery, Redshift, Clickhouse, Snowflake, etc), Preferably BigQuery
• [Nice To Have] experience with data visualization tool (e.g.: Redash, Tableau, Looker). Preferably Redash
• [Nice To Have] experience on Cloud Platform (e.g.: GCP, AWS, and so on)

Responsibilities

• Work side-by-side with a mentor to help you accomplish team goals and grow
• Carry the execution of a small-medium size project that is given by PM / Lead Software Engineer according to its product domain
• Work side-by-side in a high performance team by occasionally participating in the requirement / specification phase and help to design solution of a problem or system implementation together
• Contribute in building various scripts, API, enhancing functionalities, and bug-fixing required to improve our data engineering best practice and services
• Working with our in-house data platform and machine learning services: BigQuery, Cloud Dataflow, DBT, and Airflow
• Working with our in-house cutting-edge & advance DevOps tooling (Kubernetes, Terraform, Grafana, Loki, Prometheus, on top of Google Cloud Platform)
