Job summary

Cermati is seeking an enthusiastic student or fresh graduate to join our data team in Jakarta. You will work alongside a mentor on a small to mid-sized project within the fintech domain, contributing to data pipelines and related tooling.

You will engage in requirements discussions, design solutions, and implement scripts and APIs while leveraging our data platform (BigQuery, Dataflow, DBT, Airflow) and cloud tools. Proactive collaboration and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Final year student or fresh graduate from Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, Informatics Engineering, or related majors.
• Passionate about the Fintech Industry.
• Able to communicate in Bahasa and English.
• Self-motivated, creative and collaborative.
• Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex problems to executives.

Responsibilities

• Work with mentor to achieve team goals and grow professionally.
• Execute a small–medium project as assigned by PM/Lead.
• Collaborate in requirement/spec phase and help design solutions.
• Contribute to scripts, APIs, and bug fixes to improve data engineering practices.
• Work with in-house data platform and ML services: BigQuery, Dataflow, DBT, Airflow.
• Engage with DevOps tooling: Kubernetes, Terraform, Grafana, Loki, Prometheus on GCP.
