Job summary

ALVA is seeking a hands-on engineer to contribute to the mechanical and electrical design of its EV products. You will perform feasibility studies and exploratory engineering calculations to advance new concepts.

You will support the development, assembly, and testing of prototypes and battery systems, and collaborate with R&D, Quality, and Manufacturing to troubleshoot complex issues. This role offers exposure across batteries, motors, frames, and other subsystems, providing practical

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Experience with EV concepts or automotive subsystems preferred.
• Hands-on prototyping and testing experience.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to mechanical and electrical design for ALVA product and EV concepts.
• Support development, assembly, and testing of prototypes and battery systems.
• Collaborate with R&D, Quality, and Manufacturing to troubleshoot issues.

Job description

• Contribute to mechanical and electrical design for the development of ALVA product, including feasibility studies and exploratory engineering calculations for EV-related concepts
• Support the development, assembly, and testing of prototypes and proof-of-concept systems, including batteries and other EV subsystems
• Participate in research and exploration of new concepts and technologies related to electric vehicles
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as R&D, Quality, and Manufacturing to troubleshoot and solve complex technical issues
• Gain hands-on exposure across multiple engineering domains, including batteries, motors, structural components, frames, and swing arms
