Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design non-standard mechanical parts for LV and MV equipment, issue stock requisitions, and support project management during offers and orders.

The role focuses on optimizing material consumption, ensuring quality and standardization, and aligning with SHE requirements. You will prepare fabrication and assembling lists and collaborate with a cross-functional team to deliver efficient, safe designs.

Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineering Degree (S1/D4/D3) required.
• 2 years of experience in the same field.
• Mechanical Engineering with basic electrical knowledge.
• English and Indonesian language skills; proficiency in AutoCAD and Schneider tools.

Responsibilities

• Issue non-standard mechanical drawings.
• Prepare fabrication list.
• Prepare assembling list.
• Optimize design of product.
• Optimize selection of material.
• Improve efficiency of design.
• Support technical clarifications for mechanical aspects.
• Identify hazards and ensure risk controls; comply with SHE requirements.
