Job summary

Unilever Oleochemical Indonesia (UOI) is seeking a Maintenance Planner to translate maintenance needs into executable work orders, aligning technology initiatives with business goals and NDPE sustainability standards.

You will conduct site visits, estimate scope, plan resources, manage the work order backlog, review SAP plans, and support major shutdowns, while coordinating with operations and maintenance teams at our North Sumatra facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (advantage)
• Experience in maintenance execution Oleochemical/Manufacture/Petrochemical industries
• 4 Years working experience as Mechanical Technician with leadership
• Experience in planning major shutdown projects
• Aligning operations and maintenance requirements

Responsibilities

• Convert notification to Work order.
• Conduct site visits & discuss with concerned work originators to estimate the exact scope of works for the planned maintenance activities.
• Attends the regular planning & operation scheduling meetings and provide schedule reports.
• Determines resources requirements (manpower, equipment, tools, and lifting equipment) and works sequences for maintenance jobs, and create request for any additional required resources.
• Intimate for creation of new stock entries and follow up material requisitions with respective departments for all type of maintenance.
• Review of job plans in SAP & participate in improvements based on the actuals.
• Maintain the work order backlog

• Experience in the maintenance execution Oleochemical/Manufacture/Petrochemical industries are welcome.
• 4 Years working experience as Mechanical Technician with proven ability to lead the team and plan maintenance activities.
• Experience in planning major shutdown projects.
• Experience in aligning the requirements of operations and maintenance.

UOI is one of the biggest Olechemical factories in the world and has been built on an area of 18 hectares, located in Special Economic Zone (KEK) Sei Mangkei, Blok M, N, R, S Huta VI District of Bosar Maligas, Simalungun, North Sumatra, Indonesia, where 30% of equipment manufacturers using domestic products, the plant is designed to process CPKO (Crude Palm Kernel Oil) and 95% of the products will be used by Unilever factories around the world.
