Job summary

SCG is seeking a Maintenance Engineer in Jakarta to ensure reliability of mechanical systems and equipment. You will lead preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot downtime, and drive improvements to keep production lines efficient.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in plant maintenance, strong problem-solving skills, and fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English. CMMS familiarity is a plus, with collaboration across production teams to minimize disruption.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 2–4 years of experience in plant maintenance or mechanical engineering roles; fresh graduates with strong internships may be considered.
• Solid understanding of mechanical systems, rotating equipment, and maintenance methodologies.
• Problem-solving skills with the ability to work under time-sensitive conditions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with CMMS is an advantage.
• Clear communication in Bahasa Indonesia and English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for mechanical equipment and machinery.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with production teams to plan maintenance windows without disrupting operations.
• Review equipment performance data and recommend upgrades or improvements.
• Manage spare parts inventory and ensure availability of critical components.
• Support installation and commissioning of new machinery.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety and environmental standards.
• Prepare reports on maintenance performance, downtime analysis, and cost efficiency.
