Job summary

You will prepare drawings, specs, and calculations, and develop 2D/3D models using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.

The role requires a minimum of three years in engineering, with travel to mining and industrial sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in engineering.
• Experience with conveyor systems, material handling, manufacturing, fabrication, mining, or industrial equipment.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and SolidWorks for 2D/3D design.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and with cross-functional teams.
• Willing to conduct site visits and business trips, including mining/industrial sites.

Job description

Responsible for engineering design, development, and technical support for mechanical and/or electrical systems and equipment.

Prepare and review engineering drawings, technical specifications, calculations, and documentation.

Develop and modify 2D/3D engineering designs using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.

Analyze technical requirements and provide practical engineering solutions based on project specifications and customer requirements.

Coordinate with Production, Project, Fabrication, Maintenance, and other related departments to ensure proper implementation of engineering designs.

Conduct technical evaluation, troubleshooting, and improvement of existing equipment or systems.

Ensure engineering designs comply with applicable standards, safety requirements, and company procedures.

Support project execution, including site inspection, installation, testing, commissioning, and technical problem-solving when required.

Review materials, components, and technical specifications to ensure suitability for the required application.

Prepare technical reports, documentation, and engineering recommendations.

Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technical team members.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

Minimum 3 years of working experience in engineering, preferably in conveyor systems, material handling, manufacturing, fabrication, mining, or industrial equipment.

Proficient in AutoCAD and SolidWorks for 2D/3D engineering design and drafting.

Good understanding of engineering drawings, technical specifications, and equipment/system design.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Able to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Willing to conduct site visits and business trips, including to mining and industrial sites.

English proficiency is an added value.
