Samara Lombok is seeking a Master Planning Manager to govern the Global Masterplan across the development lifecycle, coordinating with Design, Operations, Infrastructure, Legal, Project Management, Landscape, Sales and external consultants to ensure that proposed changes are properly assessed and integrated.
The role requires a relevant degree and 5 years of experience in master planning or urban design, with proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, SketchUp and MS Office.
The Master Planning Manager is responsible for maintaining, governing and safeguarding the approved Global Masterplan for Samara Lombok throughout the development lifecycle.
As Samara moves into detailed estate delivery, the role serves as the planning control point across Design, Operations, Infrastructure, Legal, Project Management, Landscape, Sales and external consultants, ensuring that proposed changes are properly assessed and coordinated before implementation.
Act as the custodian of the approved Samara Global Masterplan and protect its long-term integrity.
Maintain accurate masterplan documentation, CAD/C3D files, PDF, GIS or spatial data where applicable, surveys, plot schedules, planning records and revision history.
Review proposed amendments to land use, plot layouts, road alignments, public spaces, utility corridors, infrastructure interfaces, estate facilities and development parcels, including their potential impact on surrounding plots.
Maintain a Global Masterplan Change Register with approval references, decision dates and rationale for each approved change.
Prepare planning reports, presentation materials, plot schedules, planning assessments and supporting documentation for Management, Legal, Sales and project teams.
Review concept designs, site layouts and design submissions from internal teams and external architects for masterplan alignment.
Assess plot utilisation, setbacks, building placement, topography, access, construction access, public realm, landscape interface, privacy and view impacts.
Maintain accurate and consistent plot and planning data as the one source of truth, ensuring alignment across masterplan, legal, sales and infrastructure records.
Work closely with Design, Operations, Legal, Infrastructure, Project Management, Landscape, Sales and external consultants on planning matters.
Conduct the monthly release of the latest Global and Legal Masterplans on the first Friday of each month, in accordance with SOP No. MP-002.
Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Urban & Regional Planning, or master's degree in Urban Design.
5 years of relevant experience in master planning, architecture, urban design or related fields.
Experience in master planning for large-scale mixed-use, residential, tourism, or hospitality developments, particularly projects involving complex sites and varied topography, is preferred.
Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary stakeholders, including architects, engineers, MEP, surveyors, legal, site, sales and marketing teams.
Proficient in AutoCAD, with working knowledge of Civil 3D and SketchUp (or similar simulation software) and Microsoft Office (or equivalent tools).
