Qualifications

• Diploma (D3/D4) or Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or Naval Architecture / Marine Engineering.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in mechanical maintenance or marine engineering; fresh graduates welcome.
• Strong understanding of ship mechanical systems (propulsion and auxiliary machinery), piping management, and valve overhaul procedures.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, familiarity with maritime safety standards, and proficiency in preparing technical maintenance reports.

Responsibilities

• Prepare periodic reports regarding operational performance, projects, budget, quality performance, and relevant issues in shipyard operations.
• Always use mechanical equipment correctly, maintain the equipment regularly, and report issues or emergency maintenance needs.
• Carry out accurate records regarding the work done, including day-to-day activities, such as inspection reports, maintenance records, and other documentation.
• Ensure the implementation of an Integrated Management System and identify, document, and control risks in the department's work area.
• Foster commitment to understand and adhere to all IMS requirements.
• Participate in investigation of accidents, incidents, or actions that may lead to incidents due to unsafe actions or conditions with factual reports.
• Engage in information security controls to protect company information assets.
