Job summary

HP in Indonesia is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to contribute to engineering solutions across the product lifecycle, building relationships with stakeholders and ensuring the distribution of relevant manufacturing documentation.

You will develop reliable, cost-effective manufacturing processes for low to moderate complexity products, collaborate with internal and outsourced partners, and drive improvement initiatives related to tooling, cycle time, and quality.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 0-2 years of work experience, preferably in engineering design and solutions.
• Six Sigma Certification and APICS Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Designs portions of engineering solutions, including methods, operation sequences, and processes for manufacturing of parts and assemblies.
• Develops understanding and relationship with internal and outsourced partners for product development and manufacturing.
• Establishes, delivers, and maintains manufacturing processes for new products throughout the product life cycle.
• Develops and distributes manufacturing documentation in support of product design and build requirements.
• Implements time standards, production area layouts, and tooling requirements for subsystems and new products.
• Collaborates with project teams and partners to develop reliable, cost-effective manufacturing solutions.
• Identifies opportunities for improvement and communicates implementation plans.
