Job summary

PT Wai Hing Industrial Indonesia is seeking a Mandarin Translator/Interpreter to translate documents between Mandarin, English and Bahasa Indonesia, and to support meetings and communications with Mandarin-speaking partners. This full-time role includes travel to different office locations or with the COO on business trips.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of relevant experience, strong Mandarin and English skills, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Mandarin and English with excellent verbal and written communication in both languages.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality translation of documents between Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Indonesia and vice versa.
• Assist during meetings, conferences, and calls by interpreting discussions for the COO and Mandarin-speaking counterparts.
• Maintain translated documents and ensure translations are accurate and consistent with company standards.

PT Wai Hing Industrial Indonesia is a company that manufactures toys (plush toys and plastic toys).

Location: Ngawi Regency, East Java (East Java-Central Java border; travel time to Madiun 30 minutes, Solo 1 hour, and Surabaya 2.5 hours)

Employment type: Full time (3 month probation)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality translation of documents, reports, emails, and other written materials from (Mandarin to English & Bahasa Indonesia) and (English,Bahasa Indonesia to Mandarin.
• Assist during meetings, conferences, and calls by interpreting discussions and ensuring accurate communication between the COO and Mandarin-speaking counterparts.
• Maintain translated documents and ensure all translations are accurate and consistent with company standards.

Qualifications:

• Min 1 year experience as a Mandarin Translator, Interpreter, or similar role. Fresh graduate are welcome to apply.
• Bachelor's degree in any related field.
• Fluency in Mandarin and English with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages. *Priority is given to those with HSK license
• Proficient in operating computer software like Microsoft Office
• May need to work mobile, which include traveling to different office locations or accompanying the COO on business trips.
