Job summary

PT ZTT Cable Indonesia is seeking a multilingual translator to support cross-functional teams in a manufacturing setting. You will translate and proofread materials between Mandarin and Indonesian, ensuring accuracy and cultural nuance across documents.

Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree with HSK 4, possess strong language skills and meticulous attention to detail. On-site placement is in Karawang, with collaboration across Subang offices; MS Office proficiency is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any major (Chinese lit preferable).
• HSK 4 certification required.
• Fluent in Mandarin and Indonesian with strong listening and speaking skills.
• Ability to convey meaning with cultural nuances and industry terminology.
• Attention to detail; review and correct translations.
• Excellent interpersonal and cross-functional communication skills.
• On-site work in Karawang, Subang; willing to relocate.
• Linguistics/Translation or Language Studies background preferred.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office for documents management.

Certified min. HSK 4

Strong proficiency in Mandarin and Indonesian, with solid listening, and speaking skills in both languages.

Ability to convey meaning accurately, considering cultural nuances and industry-specific terminology.

Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to review and correct language, grammar, and tone in translated materials.

Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Strong time-management and organizational skills to handle multiple translation tasks and meet deadlines.

Comfort working on-site in and collaborating in a structured, team-oriented environment.

Relevant educational background in Linguistics, Translation, Language Studies, or a related field is preferred.

Familiarity with Microsoft Office or similar tools for preparing and managing documents.

Prior experience in the food and beverage or manufacturing sector is an advantage but not required.
