Job summary

Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is partnering with an industrial organisation to hire a Technical Procurement Manager who speaks Mandarin. Based in Indonesia, you will lead end-to-end procurement for projects and operations, driving strategic sourcing, supplier partnerships, and commercial negotiations to support business growth.

You will manage supplier selection, negotiate terms, review POs, and ensure on-time delivery while coordinating with Engineering, Finance, Logistics, and other teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
• 5–8 years in procurement or purchasing.
• Experience in hydropower, power plants, EPC, engineering, construction, manufacturing or related industries preferred.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end procurement for projects and operations.
• Develop procurement strategies for cost-saving, quality, and timely delivery.
• Lead supplier sourcing and development, especially in China.
• Negotiate pricing, specifications, quality, delivery, and contracts.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Project, Finance, Logistics, and other departments.
• Oversee international procurement including import/export, Incoterms, shipping, and customs.
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Lead procurement team and develop capabilities.
