Job summary

PT Talenta Eksekutif Asia in Tangerang, Indonesia, invites a senior R&D Formulation Manager to lead the development of skincare, haircare, and body care formulations from concept through production. You will build the local R&D team and establish development processes to deliver innovative products.

The role requires 7–10 years of hands-on cosmetic formulation experience, a Bachelor's in Chemistry or related field, and mandatory Mandarin fluency to coordinate with Asian suppliers and partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science or related field.
• 7–10 years hands-on formulation experience in cosmetics/personal care.
• Portfolio of new formulations developed from scratch.
• Fluency in Mandarin required; leadership in R&D preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead formulation research and develop production-ready formulations.
• Oversee laboratory trials, stability testing, and validation.
• Manage technical scale-up from pilot to mass production.
• Build and mentor the local Indonesia R&D formulation team.
• Ensure BPOM Indonesia and international safety compliance.
