Job summary

MOVA, based in Indonesia, seeks a senior operations leader to own overall company performance and translate the CEO’s strategy into actionable quarterly goals across divisions. You will lead cross-functional teams in Partnerships, Growth, Operations, Customer Service, and Finance, driving alignment and accountability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in senior leadership roles (COO/VP/Head of Operations).
• Proven experience in the digital apps ecosystem, e-commerce, affiliate marketing, social commerce, fintech, or other tech-driven businesses.
• Fluent in Mandarin (written and spoken) and English with strong communication in both languages.
• Demonstrated experience leading multiple functions and teams with direct oversight of Managers and senior contributors.
• Strong understanding of GMV, take rate, CAC, LTV, and retention for data-driven decisions.
• Proven track record of building, managing, and negotiating strategic partnerships with major platforms, brands, or ecosystem partners.
• Strong capabilities in strategic planning, performance management, operational execution, and team development.
• High integrity, ownership, and accountability with understanding of regulatory compliance, risk management, and consumer protection.

Responsibilities

• Own overall company performance and profitability, translating the CEO’s direction into clear quarterly objectives for each division.
• Lead, direct, and evaluate Managers responsible for Partnerships, Growth/Marketing, Operations, Customer Service, and other functions.
• Establish KPIs/OKRs, conduct monthly and quarterly reviews, and drive corrective actions when targets are missed.
• Develop management capabilities through coaching, succession planning, and HR-informed decisions on promotion or replacement.
• Empower managers while stepping in on cross-functional or high-risk matters beyond their authority.
• Ensure end-to-end operating flow across Partnerships → Product/Technology → Growth → Operations → Finance.
• Lead regular management forums and establish SOPs, SLAs, reporting standards, and data definitions across divisions.
• Hold ultimate accountability for operational risks, ensuring regulatory compliance across Indonesia, Malaysia, and future markets.
