Job summary

MOVA is seeking a seasoned Chief Operating Officer to own company performance and profitability across divisions in Indonesia. Translate the CEO’s strategy into quarterly objectives and align cross-functional teams to execute with discipline.

You will lead Managers across Partnerships, Growth/Marketing, Operations, and Finance, set KPIs/OKRs, drive performance reviews, and build scalable structures with HR and Finance to support rapid expansion.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience, with senior leadership roles such as COO, VP, or Head of Operations.
• Experience in the digital apps ecosystem, e-commerce, affiliate marketing, fintech, or tech-driven businesses.
• Fluent in Mandarin and English with strong communication in both languages.
• Demonstrated experience leading multiple functions and teams with oversight of managers.
• Strong understanding of GMV, take rate, CAC, LTV, and retention for data-driven decision making.
• Proven track record building and negotiating strategic partnerships with major platforms or brands.
• Strong capabilities in strategic planning, performance management, and operational execution.
• High integrity, ownership, and accountability with regulatory risk and compliance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Own overall company performance and profitability across divisions.
• Translate the CEO’s strategic direction into quarterly objectives and targets.
• Serve as the single point of accountability for operations and business performance.
• Lead and evaluate Managers for Partnerships, Growth/Marketing, Operations, and Customer Service.
• Establish KPIs/OKRs, conduct regular reviews, and drive corrective actions.
• Develop management capabilities through coaching and HR-informed decisions on promotions or rotations.
• Ensure cross-functional, end-to-end alignment from Partnerships to Finance.
• Oversee risk, governance, compliance, and crisis management as required.
• Design scalable org structure and dashboards to support growth and regional expansion.
