Job summary

J&T Cargo Indonesia (PT Global Yimi Cargo) is seeking a proactive Business Development professional to research markets, prepare tailored proposals, and develop strategic partnerships in the logistics sector.

You will coordinate with operations, finance, and customer service to ensure deal execution, manage pipelines, and present to Mandarin-speaking clients. A Bachelor's degree and strong communication, negotiation, and MS Office skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or related fields from a reputable university.
• Fluent in Mandarin, both written and spoken, with strong communication skills for professional business interactions.
• Prior experience in business development, sales, account management, or related fields is preferred; fresh graduates with strong potential are also welcome to apply.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with a result-oriented mindset.
• Able to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
• Proactive, adaptable, and capable of working in a fast-paced business environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Willing to learn, grow, and develop a long-term career in the logistics industry.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to support strategic business growth initiatives.
• Prepare business proposals, presentations, quotations, and cooperation plans tailored to client needs and company objectives.
• Coordinate closely with internal departments including operations, finance, and customer service to ensure smooth execution of business deals and partnerships.
• Monitor sales pipelines, follow up on leads, and ensure timely progression of potential opportunities into successful partnerships.
• Support revenue growth initiatives by achieving business targets and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Represent the company professionally during meetings, negotiations, and business discussions with local and Mandarin-speaking clients or partners.
• Maintain accurate records of client communications, project updates, and business development activities.
