Job summary

Kinderfield is seeking a dedicated Mandarin Teacher to deliver engaging, age-appropriate Mandarin lessons at PSKG. The teacher will create a positive, supportive learning environment and help students develop basic Mandarin listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Mandarin or related field, prior teaching experience, and strong Mandarin and English communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Mandarin, Chinese Language Education / Literature or a relevant field from a reputable university
• Previous teaching experience in a school setting is preferred
• Experience teaching in an international or bilingual school environment is an advantage
• Good command of Mandarin and English, both written and spoken
• Genuine passion for education and working with young learners
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Creative, enthusiastic, and able to create an engaging classroom environment
• A good team player with a strong sense of responsibility, initiative, and commitment
• Willing to be placed in Bandung, West Java

Responsibilities

• Deliver Mandarin lessons based on the curriculum, syllabus, lesson plans, and teaching guidelines provided by the Head Office
• Conduct teaching, assessment, and evaluation of students in accordance with the school's standards
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet students' learning needs and developmental stages
• Encourage students to develop basic Mandarin skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing
• Prepare and provide written reports on students' academic and behavioral progress
• Support, motivate, and encourage students to participate actively in learning and school activities
• Collaborate with colleagues and school management to support effective teaching and learning
• Participate in school activities and other programs as required
