A global HR-tech company is looking for a Managing Counsel, Product to lead legal efforts in AI and HRIS compliance. The ideal candidate should be a qualified lawyer with extensive product counseling experience and a strong command of emerging AI regulations. This position allows for a flexible remote work environment, and offers a competitive salary range between $67,950 and $152,900 USD annually.

This is an exciting time to join Remote and make a personal difference in the global HR-tech space as a Managing Counsel, Product (Please note, this is not a People Manager role). We are looking for a talented and eager lawyer, who is interested in helping with our team’s mission, namely: to deliver pragmatic and innovative legal solutions for Remote’s products and stakeholders, while protecting Remote from unacceptable risk.
Remote’s well established Legal team is a bunch of friendly, talented highly motivated lawyers from a whole host of different countries.
As Remote grows and adds new products, the volume and complexity of issues scale across 90+ jurisdictions. You will be a legal partner to Product, Engineering, Privacy, and Security, with emphasis on HRIS and AI/ML features, translating complex rules into clear, shippable requirements and striking the right balance between compliance and commerciality.
