Job summary

Cosmax Indonesia is looking for a Financial Analyst to streamline pricing processes and analyze costs. Responsibilities include calculating COGS, monitoring profit margins, and preparing performance reports. The ideal candidate will have at least 6-8 years of experience, preferably in the cosmetics industry, and strong expertise in data analytical thinking and MS Excel.

This is an onsite position from Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00, located in Jakarta Selatan, Indonesia.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Create and improve the system for pricing request flows.
• Calculate the Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) for products.
• Analyze and review cost components for precision.
• Monitor Contribution Margin (CM) & Operating Income (OI).
• Analyze sales revenue and identify cost efficiencies.
• Collaborate on cost-effective pricing strategies.
• Prepare periodic performance reports for management.
• Maintain accessible centralized meeting-related data.
• Report monthly on pricing calculations for New Product Development.

1. Bachelor degree from reputable university majoring in Financial Analyst, Business Management, Marketing Management, Management Accounting or related field.
2. Have minimum 6-8 year of work experience in Financial Analyst preferably from cosmetics industry or manufacture.
3. Strong in data analytical thinking.
4. Experience using MS Excel (pivot, hlookup, vlookup).
5. Must be good and active in English.
6. Good in communication with internal staffs.
7. Interested in local and global circumstances.

Role & Responsibilities

• Create, improve the system regarding the flow process of pricing requests until its final approval.
• Calculate the Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) for all products within the portfolio.
• Analyze, review cost components, including raw materials, PKG Material, CC costs to ensure precision in calculations.
• Monitor, maintain Contribution Margin (CM) & Operating Income (OI) for all products.
• Analyze sales revenue, associated costs, identify areas for improvement in cost‑efficiency to enhance overall profit margins.
• Collaborate on developing cost‑effective strategies to align pricing structures with client expectations.
• Prepare, generate periodic performance reports for management including gather relevant data from various sources within the organization, including sales, finance, operations, marketing.
• Organize & maintain a centralized repository for meeting‑related data, ensuring easy accessibility for all stakeholders.
• Make a report every month regarding the price calculation process for New Product Development (NPD) which will later be presented to the marketing team.
