Makassar Logistics Co. is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage customer accounts and ensure timely collections on-site in Makassar, South Sulawesi. The role collaborates with credit control and sales to maintain accurate records and resolve discrepancies.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in AR, strong Excel skills, and hands-on experience with accounting software. This on-site position offers a stable environment within a growing logistics company.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years' experience in accounts receivable or a similar billing/collections role.
• Proficient with Excel and accounting software (Accurate, QuickBooks, Xero).
• Detail-oriented with strong data entry and reconciliation skills.
• Able to work independently or in a team and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Process customer payments via cash, checks, and electronic transfers.
• Record payments accurately in the accounting system.
• Reconcile AR ledger to ensure proper posting.
• Generate and send invoices to customers.
• Follow up on outstanding balances by phone, email, and mail.
• Investigate payment discrepancies and billing issues.
• Monitor non-payments and delays; prepare aging reports.
• Assist month-end close by recording AR transactions.
• Communicate with sales and customer service to resolve issues.
• Maintain clean customer master data.
