Job summary

PT Japfa Food Indonesia seeks an experienced Electrical Utility Technician to monitor, operate, and maintain electrical systems across our Wonoayu facilities. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical machinery, troubleshoot faults, and document inspections to reduce downtime.

The role requires 2–3 years’ hands-on experience in manufacturing or food processing, familiarity with PLCs and control wiring, and a valid K3 Listrik safety certification is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical malfunctions to minimize downtime.
• Conduct regular inspections and document logs and incident reports.
• Assist in installation, testing, and commissioning of new electrical utility machinery and systems.
• Ensure adherence to K3 regulations, policies, and environmental standards.

Job Responsibilities

• Monitor, operate, and maintain electrical utility systems, including power distribution panels, generators, transformers, and electrical control circuits.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on all electrical machinery, equipment, and installations in accordance with company safety standards and operating procedures.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical malfunctions and failures promptly to minimize production downtime.
• Conduct regular inspections of utility equipment and document operational data, maintenance logs, and incident reports.
• Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of new electrical utility machinery and systems.
• Ensure strict adherence to Occupational Health and Safety (K3) regulations, company policies, and environmental standards.

Job Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience as an electrical utility operator or maintenance technician, preferably within the manufacturing, food processing, or feedmill industry.
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, PLC, control wiring, generators, and high/low voltage distributions.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematic drawings and technical manuals.
• Possession of a valid electrical safety certification (K3 Listrik) is highly advantageous.
• Willingness to work in shifts and respond to emergency breakdown calls as required.
