Job summary

Unilever Indonesia is seeking a Maintenance Planner to coordinate maintenance activities, ensuring equipment reliability, plant availability, and operational efficiency across the site. You will work with Operations, Engineering, and Maintenance teams to develop plans, optimize resources, and support major shutdowns.

The role requires a Technical Diploma III in Engineering and at least 4–5 years in maintenance planning/execution, with CMMS and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years' experience in maintenance execution in chemicals or related industries.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in planning maintenance.
• Technical Diploma III in Engineering or equivalent.
• Proficient in CMMS and scheduling tools; strong MS Office skills.
• Willing to work from Sei Mangkei, North Sumatera.
• Ability to align operations and maintenance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Convert notification to work order.
• Conduct site visits and discuss scope with originators to estimate the exact scope of works for planned maintenance activities.
• Attend planning and operation scheduling meetings and provide schedule reports.
• Determine resources requirements (manpower, equipment, tools, and lifting equipment) and create requests for any additional resources.

Job description

As a Maintenance Planner, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability, plant availability, and operational efficiency. You will work closely with Operations, Engineering, and Maintenance teams to develop effective maintenance plans, optimize resource utilization, and support major shutdown and turnaround projects.

Responsibility :

• Convert notification to Work order.
• Conduct site visits & discuss with concerned work originators to estimate the exact scope of works for the planned maintenance activities.
• Attends the regular planning & operation scheduling meetings and provide schedule reports.
• Determines resources requirements (manpower, equipment, tools, and lifting equipment) and works sequences for maintenance jobs, and create request for any additional required resources.

Requirements:

• Willing to work from Sei Mangkei, North Sumatera
• Minimum Qualifications for this position is Technical Diploma III in Engineering or similar.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in maintenance execution, preferably in chemicals, oleochemicals or petrochemical industries.
• 5 Years working experience in handling planning maintenance or already
• Proficient in CMMS Systems (Inventory Management Software), Scheduling Tools, Proficiency in M/S Office
• Ability to plan major shutdown projects
• Ability to align the requirements of operations and maintenance
