Job summary

PT Hon Chuan Indonesia is seeking a Maintenance Engineer (Electrical & Automation) to support and optimize automation systems at the Cibitung Plant. The role requires hands-on PLC programming, HMI experience, and strong servo drive knowledge to back up programs and improve machines.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in automation, with a proactive attitude to learn and adapt, and willingness to be placed at the Cibitung Plant.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Automation Engineering.
• Experience in PLC programming or modification.
• Familiar with PLCs and HMIs such as Omron, Mitsubishi, Siemens.

Responsibilities

• Backup PLC programs for all machines, including servo drives and HMIs.
• Support and guide electrical troubleshooting across lines.
• Implement improvements on existing machines and new PLC/inverter controls.

Job description

Maintenance Engineer (Electrical & Automation)

Backup PLC program, servo drive / inverter and HMI all machines

Support and guide electrical troubleshooting

Make additional machine improvements

Make new machine improvements with PLC or inverter control systems if needed

What you have to:

Have experience in the field of Automation Engineering (minimum 2 years)

Have experience in PLC programming or modification

Familiar with PLC (Omron, Mitsubishi, Siemen & HMI Program)

Familiar with servo drives and inverters (Mitsubishi, Siemens, Danfoss & Yaskawa)

Can work under pressure

Enthusiastic to learn automation developments

Have a flexible attitude and are willing to work disciplined

Required to have an honest
attitude, good, good interpersonal skills, hard worker, serious in working and sociable

Understanding Autonomous and Preventive Maintenance

Willing to be placed at the Cibitung Plant

Can join as soon as possible
