Job summary

APRIL is seeking a Maintenance Development Engineer to drive proactive maintenance across our plant operations. You will transition maintenance from reactive to predictive, optimize system reliability, and lead digital maintenance initiatives (CMMS/IoT) to minimize downtime.

You will design PM/PdM programs, perform RCA/FMEA, and standardize SOPs to upskill technicians and operators, elevating MTBF and MTTR KPIs across our manufacturing footprint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in plant maintenance, reliability, or maintenance engineering.
• Hands-on CMMS experience, RCA/FMEA tools, and predictive maintenance techniques.

Responsibilities

• Optimize maintenance strategies by designing and implementing PM and PdM programs.
• Perform RCA and FMEA on failures to prevent recurring issues.
• Manage CMMS/EAM system and track KPIs (MTBF, MTTR, OEE).
• Integrate condition monitoring tools (vibration, thermography, IoT sensors).
• Standardize SOPs and upskill maintenance technicians and operators.

Key Responsibilities

• Optimize Maintenance Strategies: Design and implement Preventive (PM) and Predictive (PdM) maintenance programs.
• Root Cause Analysis: Perform RCA and FMEA on failures to prevent recurring operational issues.
• CMMS Management: Manage and optimize the CMMS/EAM system (AP) and track KPIs (MTBF, MTTR, OEE).
• Predictive Tech: Integrate condition monitoring tools (vibration, thermography, IoT sensors).
• Process & Training: Standardize SOPs and upskill maintenance technicians and operators.

Requirements

• Education: B.S. in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Experience: 3+ years in plant maintenance, reliability, or maintenance engineering.
• Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with CMMS platforms, RCA/FMEA tools, and predictive maintenance techniques.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
• Preferred: CMRP/CRL certification or Lean Six Sigma training.
