A&O Shearman in Jakarta seeks a highly motivated Junior Associate with 3–4 years post-qualification experience to join the Mergers & Acquisitions team in the Corporate Practice Group. Qualifications

• 3–4 years of post-qualification experience as a corporate lawyer in M&A at a leading law firm
• Experience supporting public/private M&A, joint ventures, and restructurings, preferably cross-border
• Ability to manage defined workstreams and work in fast-paced, cross-border deal environments under senior supervision
• Strong drafting, legal research, and analytical skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia

Responsabilités

• Take responsibility for defined workstreams on live M&A and corporate transactions, drafting and reviewing key documents
• Support M&A deals from start to finish, including structuring, due diligence, documentation, negotiation, signing, and closing
• Coordinate with jurisdictions, practice groups, local counsel, and client teams to support execution
• Maintain client contact, participate in calls, and elevate issues to senior lawyers as needed
