Job summary

PT Talenta Eksekutif Asia is seeking a capable LV Cable Technician based in Tangerang, Indonesia. The role focuses on low-voltage cable termination, jointing, wiring, and basic electrical assembly at manufacturing facilities and project sites.

The candidate will assist with inspections, testing, troubleshooting, and daily reporting under supervision, with travel to customer sites as required. A minimum 2 years of LV experience and SMK in electrical fields are preferred.

Qualifications

• SMK in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Installation or related field.
• At least 2 years of LV cable termination and jointing experience.
• Hands-on experience with termination, jointing and LV installation work.
• Familiarity with termination/jointing kits from major manufacturers.
• Good understanding of LV distribution systems and LV panels (LVMDP/LVSDP).
• Able to read basic electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Experience with Megger insulation resistance and continuity testers.
• Knowledge of K3 and electrical safety procedures.
• Basic English to understand electrical terminology and work documentation.
• Willingness to travel and work at facilities and project sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform LV cable termination and jointing for systems up to 1 kV per drawings and instructions.
• Install indoor/outdoor cable terminations and joints using manufacturer kits.
• Carry out cable preparation, crimping, insulation and sealing procedures.
• Perform LV cable installation and wiring per project specs and diagrams.
• Assist with inspection, testing, commissioning and daily work reports.
• Conduct basic troubleshooting of LV cable and termination issues.
• Maintain tools and materials in organized manner.
• Follow all K3 and electrical safety procedures.
