Job summary

Whisper Studios is seeking a versatile Compositor to deliver in-content advertising segments and drama VFX, operating on our real-time virtual production stage. You will composite chromakey talent into Unreal Engine environments live, across multiple cameras for Indonesia and Malaysia.

Responsibilities include matching Unreal renders to keyed foreground, supporting live shoots, and contributing to color-managed pipelines from offline to grade.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in VFX compositing for broadcast, advertising or film.
• Proficiency in After Effects and DaVinci Fusion; Nuke is a bonus.
• Working knowledge of Unreal Engine.
• Understanding of chromakey workflows; Ultimatte experience is a bonus.
• Experience with color-managed workflows and DaVinci Resolve.
• Strong eye for detail and a high bar for visual quality.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet broadcast deadlines.
• Willingness to work some Saturdays and Sundays with a weekday off, depending on workload.
• Good conversational English.

Responsibilities

• Composite VP plates, 3D renders and VFX elements using After Effects and DaVinci Fusion.
• Support live shoots: monitor real-time keys and flag edge, spill and roto issues to the VP team.
• Match Unreal Engine renders (Lumen, Path Tracing) to keyed foreground for lighting, depth and grain.
• Camera tracking and matchmove where on-set tracking data needs cleanup.
• Clean-up, paint, roto and plate extensions.
• Work within a color-managed pipeline from offline through grade.
• Coordinate turnovers, versioning and delivery with editors.
• Contribute to AI-assisted clean-up and background enhancement workflows.
