Job summary

Hostinger is seeking a Linux System Administrator to help build, monitor, maintain, automate, and support our global hosting infrastructure. You will work alongside System, Software, and Network engineers to detect issues early and ensure smooth operations.

You will own incidents end-to-end, implement robust alerting, and contribute to automation using Kubernetes, Ansible, and Terraform. The role involves collaboration with teams in Kaunas and Vilnius and a remote-friendly work culture.

Qualifications

• Solid Linux system administration experience with physical and virtual servers.
• Experience in incident management: response, resolution, communication and post-mortems.
• Proficient at troubleshooting data-center-level networking.
• Strong knowledge of Prometheus and Alertmanager for metrics and alerting.
• Excellent written communication on complex technical topics; able to document clearly.

Your day-to-day

• Watching over one of the largest hosting infrastructures out there - physical and virtual servers, data-center-level networking, and everything in between - and reacting fast when something looks off;
• Owning incidents end to end: response, resolution, clear communication, and post-mortems that actually prevent the next one;
• Building and tuning alerting with Prometheus and Alertmanager, so the signal cuts through the noise;
• Working hands-on with Kubernetes, Ansible, and Terraform to automate and harden the infrastructure you manage;
• Handover with our Infrastructure Monitoring team in Kaunas and Vilnius, so coverage never has gaps.

What will help you succeed

• You have a solid Linux system administration experience with managing physical and virtual servers;
• You have an experience with incident management: response, resolution, communication, and post-mortems;
• You are comfortable troubleshooting data-center-level networking;
• You are proficient with Prometheus and Alertmanager for metrics and alerting;
• You have excellent written communication on complex technical topics;
• You actively ask questions and give and absorb feedback constructively;
• You write things down - the next person on shift depends on it.

You'll be part of our Infrastructure Monitoring team based in Indonesia, working closely with a small, tight-knit group who hand off coverage with our counterparts in Kaunas and Vilnius so nothing falls through the cracks.
