UNIT. Group in Bali seeks an experienced in-house legal professional to conduct comprehensive legal audits, restructure PT PMA & PT PMDN, review corporate structure, licenses, and align activities with KBLI. The role involves drafting standardized agreements, strengthening contract provisions, and assessing regulatory exposure.
English fluency is required, and the candidate should be based in Tabanan, Bali. The position is full-time and based on-site at UNIT. Group’s Bali operations.
Conduct comprehensive legal audit and restructuring of PT PMA & PT PMDN.
Review corporate structure, business activities, and compliance with applicable regulations.
Review and align all business activities with the latest KBLI classifications.
Identify required changes to corporate documents, NIB, OSS, and business licenses.
Map and initiate all required licenses for warehouse & assembly, hospitality, construction, F&B, kindergarten, and rental activities.
Coordinate and monitor the licensing process until completion.
Draft standardized and loophole-free B2B, B2C, and EPC construction agreements.
Review and strengthen contractual provisions, including scope of work, payment, liability, warranty, termination, indemnity, and dispute resolution.
Conduct legal risk assessment and identify potential regulatory and contractual exposures.
Establish standardized legal, licensing, and contract compliance procedures.
Monitor regulatory changes and ensure ongoing compliance across all business activities.
Perform other legal-related tasks as assigned by the Owner.
Job Qualifications:
Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Law or a related field.
Minimum 10 - 15 years of experience as an In-House Legal, Corporate Legal, or in a similar position, preferably in a construction, property development, or holding company.
Strong understanding of Corporate Law, Contract Law, Employment Law, and Investment Regulations.
Good knowledge of Indonesian employment regulations and business licensing requirements.
Experience handling legal matters for PMA (foreign investment) companies is a plus.
Proven ability to draft and review contracts.
Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
Strong analytical, negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Able to work independently and as part of a team, while meeting tight deadlines.
Fluency in English is a must.
Willing to be based in Tabanan, Bali.
