Job summary

PT GRAND MOTORS INDONESIA is seeking a Corporate Lawyer to manage litigation, arbitration, debt collection and recovery in Indonesia. You will coordinate with external law firms, monitor case developments and oversee execution of court decisions, while drafting, reviewing and revising commercial contracts and legal documents.

Qualifications

• Minimum S1 degree in Law or higher.
• Good understanding of Indonesian legislation and civil and commercial litigation procedures.
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in corporate law or law firms in Indonesia, particularly in handling litigation cases, debt collection and contract review.
• Very good Indonesian language communication skills and ability to handle legal documents and coordinate independently with external lawyers and business departments.
• Strong communication, coordination, business negotiation and problem-solving skills, with responsibility in carrying out work.
• Experience in commercial vehicle industry, automotive sales, dealer management, or vehicle financing and leasing is a plus.
• Mandarin or English language communication skills and Indonesian advocate practice license are a plus.

Job description

This role involves managing litigation matters, arbitration, debt collection and recovery in Indonesia. You will coordinate with external law firms, monitor case developments and oversee execution of court decisions. You will handle receivables collection for overdue debts, conduct debt negotiations, and work to recover outstanding amounts while developing effective legal solutions. You will also draft, review and revise various commercial contracts and legal documents, identifying potential contract risks and taking steps to minimize them. Additionally, you will manage relationships with external law firms in Indonesia and coordinate legal matters involving clients, business partners and relevant institutions. You will provide legal support for business department needs and assist with daily operational legal requirements, commercial cooperation, and company risk management.

About you
