Job summary

ADI Resourcing is seeking a Legal Manager who speaks Mandarin to advise on Indonesian law and regulatory matters. The role involves driving licensing and compliance projects, drafting and negotiating contracts, and supervising the legal team.

The candidate should have a Law degree, at least 5 years of experience (preferably in payment gateway, P2P, or insurance brokerage), strong English and Mandarin, and solid analytical and interpersonal skills. In-house experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Law is required.
• Professional English and Mandarin communications are essential.
• At least 5 years of experience in legal roles, preferably in payment gateway, P2P, or insurance broker sectors.
• In-house experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of legal systems in payments or insurance brokerage is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Advise on Indonesian law and regulations for the business.
• Drive projects related to licensing and compliance.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders across Strategic Operations, BD, Finance, HR, and Operations.
• Draft/review contracts and negotiate with external partners.
• Supervise the legal team in litigation and decision making.
• Handle company legalization issues with third parties.
• Represent the company in legal activities and processes.
• Register copyrights for products.

Job Responsibilities:

• Advise business on applicable with Indonesia law and regulation
• Drive key projects related to new licensing or compliance
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and internal users, such as Strategic Operations, Business Development, Finance, HR, and Operations
• Draft and review various legal documents, and/or negotiate on contracts with external partners
• Supervise legal team in general, litigation, and decision maker
• Accommodate company legalization issues with third parties
• Representing the company in handling legal activities
• Register a copyright of products

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Law
• Communicate professionally in English and Mandarin is a must
• Min 5 years of experience, preferably in payment getaway, P2P or insurance broker company
• Preferably in house experience
• Having knowledge with legal system in payment getaway or insurance broker company
• Good attention to detail & strong analytical skills
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills
• Positive attitude, flexible, proactive, self-motivated and detailed oriented with strong sense of responsibility and able to work individually
