This position is responsible for legal-related work, serving as the data controller for the company's data governance, and supporting Corporate Secretarial functions, including stakeholder/shareholder management.
Legal Corporate responsibilities include:
- Legal Compliance & Advisor: Acting as the company's point of contact for legal references, providing legal advice and support to divisions or the entire company, and ensuring compliance with Indonesian laws and permits.
- External Liaison: Liaising with external parties such as shareholders, notary offices, local government, etc., on legal and permit matters.
- Claims & Disputes Support: Supporting claims and legal dispute resolution processes, coordinating with internal and external parties.
- Contract Review: Drafting and reviewing agreements (commercial, vendor, authority, labor, etc.) for management approval.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Law; a Master’s Degree (S2) is preferred.
- Advocate license (PERADI) is an advantage.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant Corporate Legal experience, ideally in shipping, port, or logistics sectors.
- Good understanding of Indonesian Law, compliance frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience liaising with authorities and external stakeholders, drafting bilingual agreements or contracts.
- Strong knowledge of legal permits, due diligence, legal opinions, risk management, and related legal areas.
- Excellent collaboration, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken) for international communication.
