Stockbit is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead and grow our software development team in Jakarta. You will oversee design and development of applications, directing engineers to adopt best practices and deliver high‑quality software.

Lead architecture discussions, mentor teammates, and ensure scalable, secure systems while maintaining a healthy pace and strong collaboration with product managers and other teams. A passion for cutting‑edge tech and continuous learning is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience with 2–3 years in a leadership role as an engineering manager.
• Strong backend knowledge in Go, Java or Python.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience building, mentoring and supporting a high‑performing team.
• Deep knowledge of modern software architecture that is scalable, resilient and secure.
• Experience managing distributed systems.
• Familiarity with stock trading or experience as a user (preferred).
