Philip Morris International in Indonesia is seeking a Senior Sensory Scientist to lead end-to-end sensory and consumer science projects from objectives through analysis and recommendations, working with R&D and external partners at the Sukorejo Plant in Pasuruan (East Java).

You will translate consumer needs into sensory and technical requirements for cross-functional teams, ensure study quality and regulatory compliance, and help expand sensory capability across panels and testing methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline.
• 5+ years in an R&D or consumer product environment with hands-on sensory experience.
• Experience designing sensory methodologies for product development.
• Strong English language proficiency.

Responsabilités

• Lead end-to-end sensory and consumer science projects from objectives through analysis and recommendations.
• Manage external sensory research partners, ensuring robust protocols and timelines.
• Analyze sensory and consumer data to guide product development decisions.

• Coordinate projects across R&D and partner teams for high-quality study delivery.
• Improve and standardize sensory methodologies, tools, and best practices.
