Job summary

Volex is seeking a Quality Project Lead to drive project quality end-to-end across deployments. You will develop and implement strategies to establish quality standards for existing and new services, foster a quality mindset, and ensure risk management within projects.

The role requires a Diploma/Bachelor in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, strong English, and at least 5 years in quality/technical functions; knowledge of Kaizen and Six-Sigma is preferred; proficiency in MS Excel is expected.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Good command in English.
• Communication and analytical skill.
• MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint proficiency.
• Experience – 5 years in the same function (Quality & Technical).
• Knowledge of Kaizen, Six-Sigma and related quality practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive Project Quality systematically in deployment end to end.
• Develop and implement strategy programs to establish and maintain quality standards.
• Ensure quality requirements are covered in project milestones.
• Identify, assess and mitigate risks within projects.
• Provide visibility into product or project risks and alert accordingly.
• Support and lead project teams on quality methods and tools to achieve customer satisfaction.
