Responsibilities

• Lead the mechanical aspects of fabrication projects, ensuring seamless execution of assembly, installation, and commissioning of mechanical components and systems
• Implement and enforce strict safety protocols to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards
• Collaborate with project management and engineering teams to ensure alignment with specifications, schedules, and quality benchmarks
• Supervise and direct a team of mechanics and technicians in fabrication, fitting, and adjustment of mechanical systems
• Manage procurement and inventory of mechanical parts, tools, and materials
• Oversee troubleshooting and resolution of mechanical issues to minimize delays and costs
• Maintain accurate records of mechanical operations and safety compliance documentation
• Promote continuous professional development within the mechanical team
• Own and lead the implementation and verification of compliance with McDermott policies
• Ensure employees understand their responsibility and authority to implement McDermott requirements
• Ensure timely completion of all mandatory training by themselves and teams
