Job summary

Excelitas Technologies Corp. seeks a Manufacturing Engineering Lead for our Batam site to direct the Manufacturing/Process Engineering team, own yield performance, and guide continuous improvement initiatives across designated product lines.

You will serve as technical SME, coordinate cross-functional efforts, and manage projects from concept to implementation. Strong leadership, SPC knowledge, and Lean Six Sigma proficiency are required, along with a degree in engineering and 7+ years in

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 7+ years in manufacturing/process engineering.
• Green Belt Lean Six Sigma certification strongly preferred with project leadership.
• Proven yield improvement and continuous improvement ownership with measurable impact.

Responsibilities

• Act as subject matter expert for production processes and product quality on designated lines.
• Lead, coach, and develop Manufacturing/Process Engineering team; hire and assess performance.
• Own yield performance and drive process robustness across lines.
• Qualify new/relocated equipment, materials, or processes and issue qualification reports.
• Oversee documentation like MSA, FMEA, Control Plans, and work instructions.
• Provide technical advice on material suitability and process compatibility.
• Lead manufacturing engineering projects within assigned product lines and report progress.
• Initiate and lead Lean Six Sigma continuous improvement projects to cut waste.
• Collaborate with NPI, Quality, Equipment, and Production for readiness.
• Support quality investigations and CAPA related to process performance.
• Ensure compliance with quality, environmental, health, and safety systems.
